Philadelphia

Philadelphia is one of the largest cities in the country. There are 4 main sections, North, South, Southwest, and Northeast. With each main section, there are hundreds of neighborhoods claiming their own title and their own style. Since the beginning of time there has been a battle between North and South, for a reason no one seems to know. Its like an unwritten rule, if you are from North philly you dont hang with people from South philly, and vise-versa.
There are many well known tourists attractions in Philadelphia. The art museum, the liberty bell, Penns Landing, South Street, the African American History Museum, and many more. If you were to ever come to Philly, Ride The Duck is an affordable bus tour that takes you to all of our major attractions. It takes you on land and in the water, all on one amazing vehicle. You can see them it almost anywhere downtown. The place to catch it is at 6th and Market, located right in the middle of our Historical District.
Speaking of Market Street, if you want to go shopping, here are some of our fabulous shopping areas.
THE GALLERY- Located at 8th and Market
Has 4 blocks of stores, 3 levels, and 2 food courts.
MARKET STREET- 7th to 22nd Major shopping district. We have the Diamond District, Jewelers Row, China Town, Cell phone row, and HUNDREDS of stores along Market street all the way to Walnut and Chestnut.
FRANKLIN MILLS MALL- One of the largest outlet malls in Pennsylvania. Has every store you can think of, but the outlets, so same quality items, just a MUCH better price.

An "AVE" is a shopping strip, and the stores are majority black owned. Great prices, and if you want to find the hottest urban trends, the AVES are where you want to go.
AVES:
52ND AND MARKET-
GERMANTOWN AND ERIE-
BRIDGE AND FRANKFORD
KENSINGTON AND ALLEGHENY
BROAD AND CECIL B MOORE

SO you want to get some grub while you are visiting? You CAN NOT visit Philly without one of our famous Cheesesteaks.
Now, most articles will tell you to go to Gino's or Pats, in South Philly. They are GREAT, and if your in the neighborhood, feel free to stop by. BUT- if you want the BEST cheesesteak in Philadelphia, you need to go to Max's Steaks located on Germantown and Erie Ave.
The wait is about 20 minutes. If not more. Most of the time, the line is coming out of the door. Why? Because everyone knows this is where to go. And believe me, it is WORTH the wait. There is a bar located directly next door, with an adjoining door to the store, and the service there is great. So if your feet hurt, you can grab a drink while you are waiting.

Our nightclubs are great, but I wouldnt recommend visiting any while in town. True Philadelphians have no problem with it, but in all honesty, most of them are are not well secured for someone who has no idea how Philadelphians behave. If you want to test it out anyway, I suggest Dave & Busters, located on Deleware Ave.
Deleware Ave is our Club district. If your a club hopper, this is the strip to hit.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER SPENDING A DIME IN FISO!! NOT WORTH A DIME YOU COULD SPEND IN THERE. THE DRINKS ARE WATERED DOWN, AND THE STAFF AND SECURITY ARE VERY RUDE. AND DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT PAYING FOR VIP, YOU WILL GET TWO TABLES WITH RESERVED ON IT AND PEOPLE WILL IGNORE IT! AND DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING FOR A REFUND!
